Football and SunnyKids share common values of community, teamwork, and development. Both strive toempower individuals—football by nurturing talent and fostering inclusion on and off the field, and SunnyKidsby ensuring children and families have the support they need to flourish.

Wanderers Football Club has been a hugely successful football club over the years with solid ties to the local community and a strong sense of family values. Based in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, itis the oldest and largest club on the Coast and draws players and their families from throughout the wider Sunshine Coast region. The club formed as Buderim Wanderers FC in 1972 and moved to its home to Ballinger Park in 1980.

SunnyKids has supported children and families on the Sunshine Coast for nearly 25 years through itsevidence-based Virtual Village model. This approach builds resilience, skills, and capacity, offeringwraparound support services. SunnyKids provides a social and emotional safety net, partnering withschools, health, and education providers to assist children facing adversity. Each year, the charitydelivers over 8,700 nights of emergency accommodation and offers domestic violence counsellingand referrals, helping families rebuild their lives.
