SunnyKids Wins Social Impact Category at Sunshine Coast Business Awards
SunnyKids receives recognition for outstanding contribution to supporting children and families facing domestic violence and hardship.
SunnyKids, a leading provider of emotional support and wraparound services for children and families affected by domestic violence and hardship, has been awarded the prestigious Social Impact Category (Large Business) at the 2024 Sunshine Coast Business Awards. The annual awards ceremony, which recognises exceptional business achievements across a wide range of sectors, honoured SunnyKids for its transformative work in improving the lives of vulnerable children and families in the region.
This recognition highlights the incredible impact of SunnyKids’ unique approach to social support with their Virtual Village, by offering a comprehensive network of services that include emotional support, crisis care, safety planning, counselling, and advocacy, SunnyKids helps families break free from the cycle of violence, poverty, and trauma.

SunnyKids actively work within schools and early education settings, providing creative and innovative solutions for children experiencing adversity as well as partnering with health and education service providers to link children and their families with the care they need in order for them to get back on their feet.
SunnyKids provides over 8700 nights of emergency accommodation to vulnerable adults and children each year and offer domestic violence and referral counselling to local families in need.
