Ferre De Deyne is the owner of Big Kart Track | Big Kart Track is located on the Sunshine Coast Queensland, one of the Sunshine Coast’s major tourist attractions and the largest commercial kart track in Australia! He is also one of this year’s sponsors of our 25th SunnyKids Anniversary Ball.
As a founding member of our P100 village, inviting philanthropic business’s and individuals to support SunnyKids and change the lives of children in our region; Ferre’s generosity is well known on the Coast and his support and commitment to our cause does not go unnoticed.
“I have been a supporter of SunnyKids for over 10 years, including volunteering on SunnyKids board of management for years. “I have seen remarkable change during this time,” says Ferre. “Seeing such growth and knowing our support is having a very tangible impact, is why I continue to be a big supporter of the work they do.
“Every day I get to go to work and inject some fun and excitement into the lives of so many. I genuinely feel that everyone deserves to have the best chance at life. Supporting SunnyKids, who do vital work with vulnerable children, is important to me for this reason.”
Many of our supporters have played a pivotal role in helping SunnyKids grow and have contributed to many of our major events along the way. Giving back is at the very heart of their generosity, driving their passion and social responsibility.
“Giving back to our community and helping those impacted by hardship is critical,” Ferre says. “Supporting and looking out for each other are important aspects of living in our community. Looking beyond our own circumstances and considering life in someone else’s shoes, is what it’s all about. Caring for others is an investment in their future and our own.”
In the last year, we’ve supported over 1750 children who have required essential support services. Devastatingly this number continues to rise each year. We know it takes a village to support vulnerable children and their families and we work tirelessly within our community to help as many individuals as we can.
We continue to be so incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of Ferre and his team. It’s this generosity that has enabled us to help so many vulnerable children and their families. Thank you!
