Jodi Price, Director of LJ Hooker Mooloolaba|Mountain Creek has been a loyal supporter of SunnyKids for over 11 years. Giving back to the community in which she lives is something Jodi feels extremely passionate about. To have Jodi and the LJ Hooker Mooloolaba|Mountain Creek team be a sponsor of this year’s major event is quite special to us.
“I’ve been a strong supporter of SunnyKids and all of the incredible work they do with vulnerable families and children,” says Jodi. “To be a part of this year’s 25th Anniversary Ball was a no brainer. We’re extremely proud to support such an amazing charity doing vital work right here on the Coast.”
Jodi and the team live and breathe a community centric and customer focused business model, exceling at all things real estate, they’re only happy when the client is happy.
“I’ve been selling homes and managing properties for years,” says Jodi. “I know how important it is to find the ‘perfect’ home and I know how much energy is invested in this space during the purchasing process. It’s our job to ensure that our customers receive the advice and support they need during this process. We’ll never compromise on value of service; this is paramount to us all.”
Engaging the community and increasing awareness of the services we offer is a vital part of the work we do. When Jodi became a SunnyKids supporter all those years ago, she has continued to be a strong campaigner and educator among the community, holding charity events to raise money for SunnyKids and building awareness. This level of support and commitment to the vital work we do is invaluable.
“If I can help individuals who are struggling, facing adversity or experiencing domestic violence find the support they need, I feel like it’s the very least I can do,” Jodi expresses. “We know that adversity can impact anyone and it’s up to all of us to help those facing challenges. We’re a community and the ripple effects of hardship impact us all.”
As we celebrate 25 years of changing lives and reflect on the impact we’ve had on the community, we know that this growth was made possible through the commitment and support of our SunnyKids village. Supporters just like Jodi and her team at LJ Hooker Mooloolaba|Mountain Creek have played a vital role in helping our most vulnerable families and children.
“Giving back to the community in which we live and supporting our most vulnerable is a big part of who we are,” Jodi explains. “I’ve witnessed first-hand the devastating impacts of hardship and adversity, and children are the innocent victims. Giving back financially and devoting your time to a good cause, has an impact. It has an even greater one if we all do it.”
Each year we see an increase in the level of support required in our community. And each year, we stretch ourselves to meet demand and help as many families and children as possible. We continue to be overwhelmed by our loyal SunnyKids village who commit to supporting us each and every year, for this we’re extremely grateful.
