It is only when we begin to imagine what life might be like for someone in their darkest moments, that we can truly see.  Stepping into the shoes of a mother and her children who are struggling to make ends meet, facing the very real threat of homelessness due to a violent and abusive partner at home.  What do you feel?

We know that the pain and anguish inflicted on our most vulnerable women and children because of domestic and family violence, is a community issue and requires community action and advocacy.  Ensuring we educate our community and work towards breaking the cycle of violence is pivotal.

When Greg Tindall, Practice Principal & Certified Financial Planner at MiQ Private Wealth, joined the SunnyKids P100 Village ten years ago, little did he know the profound impact his ongoing generosity and support would have on thousands of vulnerable women and children on the Coast.

Our P100 Village founding members have played a significant role in shaping the landscape for SunnyKids.  Their continued support and generosity has allowed us to grow and continue to evolve as demands increase and needs change.

This is evident with the growth of our Mentoring Through Sport program, with demands for this program in schools continuing to increase year-on-year.  The support of our donors and P100 Village has allowed us to keep the wheels turning while we meet demands, thus helping thousands of vulnerable children and their families.

“I continue to support SunnyKids because I believe in their mission and have seen firsthand the positive impact they have on the community,” Greg asserts. “Knowing that my P100 contributions help provide a better future for children and families is a powerful motivator and allows me to make a meaningful difference.

“A standout moment for me was when I attended a Mentoring Through Sport program being delivered at a local school.  Seeing the positive impact on the kids was incredibly moving and reaffirmed the importance of the program.” 

It’s clear that at the heart of our supporters is an unwavering commitment to see others thrive.  We continue to be overwhelmed by the support and kindness that is ever-present in the work we do; it forms the backbone of our village and is extremely important to us all.
