Dynamic duo, giving back at the very heart of their business.
We’re excited to welcome Scott and Kellie Armstrong, Managing Director and Business Development Manager of Maeva Hospitality, to the SunnyKids P100 Village.
Owning a diverse portfolio of hospitality venues servicing our local Sunshine Coast community, there really is a dining experience to suit everyone.
“Our four hotels serve food and beverages and provide entertainment to our local customers. Our nine Cellarbrations branded bottle shops provide takeaway liquor, whilst the Motel Caloundra provides overnight accommodation services,” says Kellie. “The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast has become an iconic place to celebrate milestone birthdays, weddings, corporate launches and conferences, it’s a pretty special venue.”
Their current hospitality portfolio includes, Baringa Tavern, Parklands Tavern, Brightwater Hotel, The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast and their newest venues Bli Bli Hotel and Motel Caloundra.
Meeting on a blind date and happily married for 27 years, Scott and Kellie have a thirst for entertainment and delicious food and pride themselves on offering their community unique dining experiences across the Coast. Injecting their signature style and personality into each venue, ensuring each space has its own distinct feel.
“We really enjoy looking at new opportunities and identifying gaps in the market where we believe we can deliver a product that offers the community a place to socialise and enjoy themselves in a safe and well-presented environment. We also enjoy seeing so many of our younger employees develop, learn and grow their social skills and personal confidence while they are working with us,” says Scott.
There’s a passion for giving back that underpins Maeva Hospitality and forms the fabric of their vision. Supporting a number of registered charities and sporting clubs and raising over $750,000 over the past 10 years. This is a monumental achievement and says a lot about the heart and soul of this dynamic duo.
“We enjoy giving back to a number of local charities on the Coast, so it was an easy fit for us to support SunnyKids,” says Kellie. “We live and work here and have gained an appreciation for the amount of great work that you do for less fortunate kids here on the Coast. There is a growing need for support and we’re happy to help in any small way that we can.”
Giving back to the community that supports them is an underlying theme for so many of our P100 Village members. Being able to provide financial support in a manner that will have an impact locally, is paramount.
“We hope that we can assist in having a positive impact on individuals facing adversity, no matter the reason,” says Scott. “We consider ourselves part of the fabric of the communities we serve, so giving back is simply part of our way of life.”
We continue to be extremely grateful for our P100 Village members, it’s this ongoing support and generosity that enables us to deliver critical support services to women and children impacted by domestic and family violence and facing adversity.
