Genine is the director and publisher of successful Sunshine Coast lifestyle magazine, Profile Magazine, and a Board Member of the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network.  Keen blogger, radio presenter of weekly Queensland radio show ‘Issues, What Issues?’, a published author and award-winning businesswoman, Genine is passionate about inspiring others to achieve the best they can be in their lives.

Amanda Gavin  - Treasurer

As an accountant and partner at Smart Steps, Amanda has a wealth of specialist experience in tax, start up  businesses and business purchases.  Working tirelessly with SunnyKids to ensure the best  business outcome for everyone is Amanda’s way of giving back to the community.

Chris Turner - Executive Director

With over 20 years experience in social research, child, youth and family work, and as the Founder of SunnyKids and Read2Remember, Chris’ commitment and dedication to helping people reach their full potential has contributed heavily to SunnyKids development and innovative approach.

Lisa Harrison - Director Digital & Marketing Sub Committee

Australia’s first Social Media Mastery Certificate IV Business developer and business owner of creative agency POMO, Lisa Harrison is working with SunnyKids to assimilate digital technologies. Lisa will ensure the organisation stays abreast of innovations and are able to provide up-to-date and relevant information to the public through digital technologies.

MarilynMarilyn Black – Director Indigenous Sub Committee

Marilyn is a local business owner of Harlequin Blinds and Security.  Since establishment in the early 1990s, the business has become one of the Sunshine Coasts best known manufacturers of internal and external home improvement products. Marilyn is committed to bringing these same business development skills to the SunnyKids Board and her role directing the Indigenous sub committee, to ensure the future growth of SunnyKids.

Brett Mills – Director Fundraising & Events Sub Committee

Dealer Principal and owner of Ken Mills Toyota,  Brett has an accounting background and holds commence and managerial qualifications.  His work experience, in addition to being self-employed, includes working for multinational companies both in Australia and overseas.
